Enter the W.O.R.M with Juggalo News

This time last year we knew you as Nukie, then you made an appearance at the Gathering with a brand new look, and post Gathering we were invited to enter the W.O.R.M.
Now, I know better than to get in the van offering candy and puppies as I hope all of our readers do. So before we go any further what is W.O.R.M.?

What’s wrong with rape vans and chloroform laced candies? It worked for Jared after all. Ok that was a bit much.
But to answer your question; I have always been W.O.R.M…He has always been there. Lurking and hiding and waiting for his time. Nukie in all his glory and achievements was fun loving, joyful, and all about making people laugh; making sure good vibes were had by all. W.O.R.M. just doesn’t care about that…he doesn’t care if he makes people laugh or if happy joy joy feelings are had by all…although calm and well spoken, W.O.R.M. finds more pleasure by lighting a match and watching the world burn…it suits him. He is darker, more sinister, more abrasive, honest…and malicious. He may not be what goes bump in the night, but I assure you he is there smirking at your pain.

What prompted this full makeover / persona change we are witnessing?

A lot of things made it time for W.O.R.M. as a horrorcore artist in this game for over ten years now, I reached a certain plateau of achievements…there was only so far I could go with Nukie. You have to understand as one of the few face painted artists out there who isn’t signed to MNE or PSY I was type cast into the bulk of shitty juggalo rappers…people would judge and damn me without hearing a note of my music. Others would make exaggerated claims I was biting off PSY or MNE and that I should come up with something on my own. It became more of an uphill battle to get what was supposed to be my core fan base to listen to me than it was worth. Imagine juggalos telling you that you’re garbage, not because you don’t make great music, but because you paint your face. It was very disheartening. Don’t get me wrong, I love my fans, I love the juggalos. I’ve been one longer then I can remember….and all opinions are a god given right…but pass judgement on me when you have heard what I have to say…not because I still paint my face to perform. Feel me? If you don’t like my music..shiiit I aint mad atcha…that’s your choice and your taste. I can’t please everyone all the time. Long story short, I was tired of fighting. So from that anger and sadness and feelings of inadequacy came W.O.R.M. so one night after performing at an ABK show in Phoenix me and Killa had a meeting, a serious heart to heart man to man about what I wanted to achieve, who I wanted to be, and what can be done about it, and we, as friends, agreed it was time for Nukie to step down for a while, and the rage of worm to set the earth ablaze.

And can I ask if there’s some kind of theme to the new look? It reminds me of a time traveler type thing for some reason, just curious.

You hit that one right on the nose! In a sense I am a time traveler bouncing back and forth through eras and time and situations at a whim. The point is all throughout history I have existed and either played a specific role in the shaping of the present as we see it. Or I’m just waiting in the shadows to pull the puppet strings. Caveat emptor, Beware the buyer, for although I appear to grant wishes and make dreams come true…in the end your just fuel to the fire and dust in the wind……like sands in the hour glass…….so are the days of our lives..haha

WORM 1

What other changes can we expect as we enter the W.O.R.M.?

I’m not going to tell you what changes to expect…that would ruin the surprise…lol no but seriously I could sit here all day and tell you my music will be this, or my songs will sound like this, or how you don’t need to pay your gas bill because my new album is FIRE!!. But will you believe me? Will that make you stand up and listen? Will that same old tired formula actually work? Doubtful…all I can say is I didn’t make any of these songs to please anybody but myself, and at the end of the day as I listen to each new track, all I can feel is pride that after decades of writing music I might have actually wrote something that will stand the tests of time. But, like I said, who knows? We will just have to wait and see.
By the way you can hear the first song off the album entitled “I Eat Emcees” at my reverbnation.

I assume “I Eat Emcees” is part of the first W.O.R.M. album? What can you tell us about this new album? What is it going to be called? And when do you expect it to drop?

Yes indeed it is a part of it. I can tell you this new album is a collection of stories…chronicles if you will…little chapters of a much bigger story and message. It’s a puzzle within a puzzle wrapped in an enigma and tied together with a mystery

I don’t want to sit here and tell people what the album is about…cause I might miss the chance to have them discover it themselves. It’s like a sick and twisted treasure hunt where the videos and songs and the album artwork and the t-shirts, even the logos and so on all lead to something much more special

I can tell you the new album is called “the soil”…but to give anything else away would ruin the surprise

I do expect it to drop before the year ends…if all ducks go in a row, if all the pieces fall into place, if Uranus aligns with Pluto and Haley’s comet doesn’t fly by and fuck it all up…by the end of 2016. But you can listen to one of the singles from the album on the new native world mix cd coming out in April …the mix volume 2.

So, we’ve seen “The Beginning of the End” sort of an introduction video for W.O.R.M.

I love that video. I went into trying to make a 1980s horror film PREVIEW, the kind with the movie phone guy and lots of dramatic scenes that just built up more awe and mystique. I think I did pretty good, by the way, since back in the Nukie days I write, shoot, edit, and do special fx for all my own videos. Holla if you need work done! hahaha

When can we expect some new music to drop?

You should expect a lot of videos coming from me in anticipation for the new album release. I’m currently working on one set, to record another, have a script for yet another, and plan on shooting two more after that. I’m an eye candy kind of guy. I like to tell stories with my videos and make the audience think. I don’t like putting pictures on youtube and my song playing behind it. It’s boring and pointless, and the market is oversaturated with that lazy mentality. Nobody will pay attention. So i have to grab your attention, smack it in the face with a bloody dildo, and leave you crying in the shower like that one character from the movie deliverance. My goal is to get a reaction. Good or bad. It doesn’t matter…once it sinks its teeth i to you that’s when I know I gotcha….feel me?

I understand you are going on a Breast Cancer Awareness tour. That sounds pretty amazing, is this a charity concert?

Yes…this isn’t a new idea in my head either. My mother is a breast cancer survivor, and a few other close family members have suffered from this plague…so it’s personal with me. I mean who doesn’t love titties right? But this tour we are booking and planning has a deeper goal. We are hoping to get sponsors for the cost of touring (gas, hotel, and food) so that way 100 percent of all the ticket sales can go to charity. Yes 100 percent, none of the shady dealings I see some other people do. None of this taking money off the top bullshit which I see so many assholes do in the name of charity (minus violent J’s tour cause from everything I have seen that is going to the right people, so big ups to J). Our set up is a bit different; after the tour is done I want to personally deliver a cashier’s check to five different breast cancer survivors. I want them to know that some company didn’t write it and work for it. I want them to know that just a group of artists and people who care wanted them to know that there is such a thing as kindness with no return needed. I pray it does well, for them, and so I can sit back at the end of all this music hoopla and feel content. I made just a little bit of difference, ya know? Something to make my momma proud of me, and something to tell my kids so hopefully they can follow my example.

I haven’t seen an announcement yet on juggalogathering.com, but will we get to see you perform this year? Are you allowed to tell us?

Well every year I have performed officially and unofficially for the last 9 years…this is number 10…and it’s the 17th!….so come hell or high water…rain, snow, typhoon or tornado…not a force on this earth will stop me from performing in one form or another. That’s the best answer I can give because PSY doesn’t like for people to promote they are performing until the website says so first…rightfully so…it is their event, and it is their right to announce it first. Also I’m sure they want to lock everyone in tight as a drum so there isn’t any confusion or perhaps liars out there saying they are performing officially when they are not. Makes for bad juju

It’s a well working machine that I myself agree with and humbly adhere to when it is required of me.

It is a family affair..no doubt..and I will be there anyway. That is official…but everything else is up to psychopathic records and the mojo makers behind this annual event. So wait for the infomercial…and then we all can go “yay I wunna see that guy”

I was told to ask about the story of ABKs condom….Pubic Joints? I hope you know what that means? I don’t….

I choose not to tell the story of ABKS condom and pubic joints merely because i don’t want to incriminate myself. I plead the fifth!!! Lol jk…but honestly I can’t remember what each story is about but it rings familiar…you have to understand me and ABK have known each other for ten years, and the amount of stories about pranks and craziness we share with each other could fill a novel. I can say however that I have never seen an ABK condom…and what would one look like anyway…I mean with all them haunted nedens n shit…I mean wouldn’t it have some exorcist passages written in Latin on the side or something?

Weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

Your mom’s vagina!!! Bwaaahahaha…jk. i would have to say the strangest thing i have ever eaten would have to be cockroaches…chocolate covered even. I’m not gunna get into detail but you can indulge in all sorts of strange foods while living in New York

If you were stranded on an island the rest of your life, what two albums would you want to have with you?

Jesus..listen this question is flawed….i wouldn’t want any albums. I’d want food, water, maybe a durable tent or a fishing pole. The last thing I’m thinking about is playing some Pink Floyd while I die of starvation. Buuut if I had all of those other things…and a means to play it with an endless supply of batteries…I would have to say the complete works of Beethoven…or Mozart…and Pink Floyd’s “The Wall:. Of course i might kill myself having to listen to the same shit everyday…so I’d probably just ask for the food.

WORM

If you were a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle which one would you be?

Donatello…..hands down..fuggin smart, can whip ass with a stick, tells a joke or two, and usually is the voice of reason to the otherwise mentally imbalanced turtles. Think about it.. Michelangelo is an immature child with the mental capabilities of a 5 year old. Raphael is a brutish hot head with anger management issues and an inferiority complex, and Leonardo is an insufferable know-it-all who is a control freak and harbors a god complex. Donatello is the only balanced one…just saying.

Favorite artist or group to see perform live?

It’s hard to say definitively which artists are the best. I can only tell you who my first was. Pink Floyd by jesus they got live shows on lock…they will never be matched. Close second is Rob Zombie…just knows how to bring a whole show not just a band or a rapper walking around onstage….the clowns third…all these groups understand the benefit of theatrics and bringing a show to the audio onslaught.
That’s who I model my live shows around, that’s who I try to emulate and be like. The people who know what it means to make a production into an experience.

And finally, do you have any advice for others who are trying to move up in the world of horrorcore?

This one is a tough one. Advice….damn……ok first….don’t copy other artists. Style, lyrics, rhyme, schemes, whatever, find yourself. However long it takes you, maybe 3 years, maybe forever, but don’t strive to be anybody but who you are; so what if you can’t rap like Tech N9ne, guess what neither can I, but I don’t want to cause that’s not me or how i talk about things.

Second…stop listening to your homies…most will never tell you what can be fixed or be honest with you about your music…they just there for the ride, God bless them…but take it at face value. Support is always awesome, don’t get me wrong…but if all you have is your friends telling you how awesome you are, and that’s it, you’re not that awesome…real talk.

Third write something and continue writing songs with substance….do you know how many artists talk about smoking weed, having money, fucking bitches, and drinking alcohol? Hundreds of thousands…in multiple countries!!! You will not stand out that way and will feel nothing but heartache for it.

Fourth learn to do everything yourself; book and run shows, write and product beats, record and edit videos, management, promotion, marketing, EVERYTHING!! Don’t expect someone to do it for you with your vision and dedication or best interests in mind, cause nobody sells you…like you. Now once u get some fundage behind you, form a team of like-minded individuals who want to see YOU succeed and not just ride your coat tails and have them do the jobs they are best at or have the dedication to learn.

Fifth and final……be humble, stay humble, remain humble. I didn’t get here alone…and had a lot of support from fans, and my brothers in native world (homie shout out!!) So remember that ego has no place in this world and the bigger the ego, the bigger the ultimate crash and burn. True artists with a humble sense of things are thankful for every moment they are onstage…at a show, selling CDs, signing autographs, and returning the love shown to them. Integrity is key…have it and hold onto it…and u should be fine. Unless you just plain suck at music then u should just get out of the way and let the professionals handle it.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. I can’t wait to see what all you have planned!
